Nice write up Vivien. I would also encourage any one to attend and give us feedback on any issues you may have with certification, testing or maybe you would like to join the committee.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your comment. I took a peak in our the CWEA study session page and found that the next available study session will be in Oxnard, CA on December 2, 2010. You can check out the details by going to this website: www.cwea.org/cert_howcert_preparing_info.shtml. Also once you sign-up for CWEA membership and identify your local section, you can contact the Certification Chair for that section and ask if they have plans on putting one together in the time frame you plan on taking the certification exam. Please feel free to contact me directly at vmalig@cwea.org if you need more information.

Best,

I am an electrician/instrumentation technician for Golden State Water Company. I would like to get certified as an E/I 4 Plant Maintence and would like to where i can get some training prior to taking the test. I have not applied to take the test but I am sure I will qualify to take the E/I 4 test. I would like to get more proficient with the many aspects covered on the test prior to taking the test.

I live in Lake Forest, CA 92630 and would like to know what trainging is available in my area or what is available on the internet for on line training spific to the E/I certification. I would like to take the E/I 4 test. i have the brochure for the CWEA Certificate Programs, qualifications and the selected reference books available to prepare for the test. What information do you have spicific to the E/I certificate training. Please give me any information available, thank you.

I believe this project uses techniques and experts from the drilling industry. They've developed methods for pumping oil and water both up and down the drill shafts.

There is another presentation here: <a href="http://labsofcwea.com/presentations/2010_biosolids/Omar.pdf" rel="nofollow">click here for PDF</a>
